At the age of twelve I picked up my father’s vintage 35mm camera and developed a passion for nature photography. Throughout my teens I would spend hours on my own hiking through the hills & woods of Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania, searching for a shot of a cottontail rabbit, white-tailed deer, or great blue heron. I would like to think this helped develop a discipline of patience that I aim to maintain on a film set today. During high school I combined my passion for photography & cinema and started creating independent short films. Throughout my time as a filmmaker I’ve always handled Sound Mixing and Recording myself, simply because it was necessary as someone who wore many hats on set. As the years passed, my interest in Sound Theory and Mixing grew and I became increasingly interested in further developing my technique. Eventually I realized sound was a passion that I wanted to pursue more intently. That’s how Silent Wolf Sound was born. During the past decade I’ve been fortunate to work across the country with great filmmakers on independent films & documentaries, and larger narrative & commercial projects.
